CLASS A CDL DRIVER (Billings, MT)

VCT is currently looking for safe and reliable Class A CDL truck drivers for our wood residuals fleet in the Billings, MT area. This position will transport customer products to various locations within Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota. This position is a sleeper berth position and will require the team member to be away from home up to 4 nights per week.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a CMV to various locations
Follow direction from dispatch
Perform DOT inspections in accordance with federal and state requirements
Report any defects found during pre-trip, mid- trip and post trip inspections to the appropriate personnel
Comply with all state and federal DOT regulations
Report any and all violations as well as any encounters with law enforcement
Requirements
Must have a valid Class A CDL DL
Current DOT medical card
No major traffic violations within the last three years
Must be safe and reliable
Team player
Able to work in inclement weather occasionally
Physically able to climb a ladder occasionally
Physically able to open manual tarp systems using upper body strength
Willing and able to use and install tire chains as necessary
Able to work through unforeseen issues with professionalism and with minimal supervision

Pay
$0.58 per mile
$25.00 Overnight Sleeper pay (must be dispatched overnight)
Wood Residuals
$30.00 to load
$20.00 to unload
Per hour pay for anything after 45 minutes of extended wait time. (Managed by dispatch)
