Operating remotely I am based out of the Seattle area. Being a sought after session drummer I have been fortunate to be performing with several artists and acts both live and in the studio. Playing with so many projects over the years I have become well versed in a many different styles such as rock, alternative, punk, pop, country, funk, disco, soca, and some jazz. I have just recently set up my own recording studio in my home to record drum tracks remotely and I can provide a professional drum track with a killer sound for your next song or album. As I am just launching my own new studio I am offering a special limited time rate $25 per song and that includes 1 revision as part of the package.
The way it works is you send me your reference/scratch track recorded to a click. It does help if the reference track has about 4 to 8 clicks in front before song begins but is not required, just makes the process a little smoother. Also include any notes for what you are looking for in your track. If you have an idea of a beat you made on a drum machine send that too. That helps me get a picture of the vision you are looking for in your song and I can do my best to match that. I then record the drum tracks from my home studio and after receiving payment send you the recorded multi-tracks in a zip file. I usually send the tracks back as a WAV file in 24 bits leaving plenty of resolution for the mixing and mastering.
I record mostly with a DW Maple kit and sometimes with a Mapex Saturn kit. I have several snares ranging in different sizes and wood types such as maple, cherry, walnut and others. I use Zildjian A Customs and K cymbals. My mics are mostly Audix though I do use a Shure Beta 57A for the bottom snare head and if a warmer kick drum sound is desired I also have a Shure Beta 52A for the kick (I normally record with Audix D6 as default unless otherwise specified). I run all my mics through a Scarlet 18i20 audio interface and use Logic Pro X to record.
If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask I would be happy to answer any questions you may have. I hope to hear from you soon and I hope to help you work on your next project.
