Pros. Leads, loads, soft ties, good for Farrier, good feet, good teeth, respectful on the ground, easy keeper, very low maintenance, sweet and kind, like a big dog will follow you around, easy to catch. All around fun guy, loves to do obstacle, and have a job.
Loves attention, respects kids on ground. No bite or kick. Very, very smart. Does liberty. Like I said fun guy. Is best with a quiet kind hand, he is not stupid by any means. Very soft, can lead with hay string.
Cons.
Very negative experience under saddle prior in his life and a saddle terrifies him. I have ridden him, but hes a flipper.

Afraid of men, Bits, and saddles make him whale eye and brainless.

Tends to pester ponies and donkeys when bored.
Very cowy.
When stressed he gets sour bellied I will send his supplements. Never colic in the 3 years iv had him.
My older kids have gone off to collage, my husband works away, before I get behind I need to lighten my load. No trailer to haul him.
