Two pair of vintage breakaway stirrups. I bought these 30 plus years ago when my daughters were doing 4H horse activities. The design for the mechanism was by Montana legendary cowboy Buck Bradford. As one of the pics shows his name is stamped on one side and on the other side are the words “patent pending”. He is credited with coming up with this design for the first breakaway stirrups. The current retail price for a similar stirrup (see breakawaystirrups.com STI corp in Laurel Mt) is $496 for the pair without taps and $357 for the pair not including the taps which have been added. Both pair are still in very good condition. Asking $250 apiece for each pair. Reply to ad, call or text
