Gorgeous warm honey patina Sheraton period chest of drawers. Solid pieces of cherry, curly/tiger maple, and walnut make up this piece. It has hand dovetailed drawers and mortis and tenon joinery throughout. Probably made in Pennsylvania or Ohio circa 1820. This piece has been professionally restored and refinished with hand rubbed tung oil finish, and additions to drawers so they open and close smoothly.
One thing to note about this dresser is that it came from a smoker’s home. Unfortunately refinishing it didn’t solve this problem entirely, so there is a residual odor to the inside of the drawers.
A steal at $750! Make your best offer. Serious interested buyers please email or text to set up a time to see it. Located in the Rimrock West neighborhood.
I included some sales comps to show the value for similar pieces.
