I was worried about plastic heating up when I was steaming baby food as I knew plastic leaches into food, especially when heated. I purchased this for my babes and loved it! Can steam on one side and puree on the other!
Nothing wrong with it, it works great, I just no longer need it for my kiddos since they have moved on past baby food stage.
